Verdde comes from the Sami word 'Verddevuohtta', which easily translated means 'guest friend'. Verdde describes the mutual dependence the reindeer husbandry and the fjord and coastal people had to each other from old. Verddevuohtta is about friendship, fellowship and the good host. 

Our rooms are simple and functional, with comfortable beds and our own bathrooms. Other space facilities include kettle, desk, smart TV, hairdryer and free wifi. Parking is free in private parking space.

We offer our guests a taste of Finnmark and Porsanger. Local ingredients are a natural part of the menu, which will vary based on the seasons. Salmon, reindeer, king crab, cod, halibut, lamb, beef and berries characterize our menu.
