Havøysund is a town in Måsøy Municipality with approx. 1100 inhabitants. Here you'll find a hotel, several restaurants, a taxi company, a museum and a church. In addition, they have hairdressers, fitness centre, clothes shops, petrol station and a colonial shop with all kinds of goods. Havøysund is located on an island by the coast in Western Finnmark and is connected to a Norwegian Scenic Route with fantastic coastal scenery. In the area, there are several hiking trails that take you through untouched nature. Havøysund is also home to the Havøygavlen wind farm, which was built in 2002. This is the world's northernmost wind farm with 16 wind turbines. By boat you can easily reach islands such as Rolvsøya, Ingøya, Hjelmsøya and Måsøya.


Havøysund Hotel

Havøysund hotel is centrally located in Havøysund, with a view of the sea. Here there are hotel rooms and wheelhouses. This is a charming hotel in the heart of Havøysund. There are 20 wheelhouses and 12 hotel rooms. They have a restaurant and bar. In addition, there is a sauna here and it is located right by the sea. There is also boat rental here.


Måsøy Museum

Måsøy Museum deals with fisheries and coastal culture, and is located in an old vicarage. Here you will find a varied exhibition in war history, Sea Sami history, marine life and bird life, as well as the history of the area. They also have an exhibition of fishing gear, fishing gear and ship technology throughout the ages and Norway's first winch.
