The big highlight of the year at Skaidi, a cycling race that puts us on the world map! The race is held during the first weekend of September every year, and you don't want to miss this! At Skaidi Xtreme, you'll find mountain bike races for all levels, including an event for children, one for the youth class, the Skaidi Adventure/EL and the main race Skaidi Xtreme. The main race includes everything you would expect from a proper mountain bike race; technical climbs, exciting descents, and sections that will challenge you both physically and technically! The route is approx. 42 km long, and every year both beginners, exercisers, active and the elite mountain bike cyclists participate.

Skaidi Xtreme has earned a reputation for being one of the toughest races in Norway, and everyone who completes it should be proud of their achievement, regardless of whether you finish 1st or 200th! If you're looking to rice a mountain bike in Finnmark, Skaidi Xtreme is without a doubt the event for you.

In addition to the cycling races, there is a lot going on at Skaidi during this weekend. After the race there will be a banquet outside Skaidi Hotell. There are also shuttle buses bringing you to and from Skaidi from both Hammerfest and Alta.
