Guided tour of the exhibition about the Struve Geodetic Arc, a world heritage site

Learn more about our World Heritage sites and how they measured the soil very accurately. Join the tower and try an old surveyor's instrument and see one of the original measuring points from 1846. Find out why Fuglenes and Hammerfest were chosen as the end point for surveying the soil.

Not least why this is such an important part of our history that UNESCO chose to include it on the World Heritage List as the first technical-scientific world heritage.
